Construction Site Interior Alarm & Fire Detection

AJAX

Secure Your Site

Interior detection for the zones cameras can't see — photo-verified, monitored, and unified with CSS through one site arm/disarm app.

Wireless interior detection deployed by CEECAM as the second layer of a managed construction security service. Photo-verified motion at choke points, narrow-beam curtain sensors at doors and windows, and UL-listed smoke and heat detection in storage and trades areas — all integrated into CeePlayer alongside CSS video, with one app arming the whole site.

Who it’s for

Project Managers

Documented, monitored fire detection that supports insurer and Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) fire-watch programs, plus an interior security record from enclosure to handover.

Superintendents

One app, one site, one set of credentials — open the site in the morning without touching two systems.

Estimators

A single managed vendor for interior detection, fire detection, and CSS integration — instead of three line items and three contractors.

Overview

Once the structure is enclosed, the interior is where loss actually starts — storage cages behind stairwells, mechanical rooms, trades tool areas, the inside of the loading dock. CEECAM deploys Ajax Systems wireless detection across those zones as the interior layer of a managed security service. The hub mounts inside the existing CSS-M cabinet, sensor events feed directly into CeePlayer alongside CSS video, and the Ajax app becomes the single arm/disarm surface for the whole site. Ajax is the platform; the CEECAM service is what's being delivered.

Covers the gaps cameras can't see

Wireless sensors land exactly where camera lines-of-sight stop — interior choke points, storage areas, mechanical rooms — without adding cameras, cable, or new power drops.

Phases in with the build

Sensors need doors, windows, and rooms to cover. The interior layer goes in mid-project, once the envelope closes — typically after CSS perimeter video is already running.

Photo-verified alarms

Outdoor MotionCam sensors capture a 5-photo series within ~9 seconds of every trigger. Operators see what set the alarm off — a tarp in the wind, a raccoon, or a real intruder — before anyone is dispatched.

UL-listed fire detection

Combined smoke and heat detectors (triggered by both smoke and rapid temperature rise) sized for storage areas, trades tool zones, and electrical rooms. Multi-unit alarm sync within 20 seconds.

One app arms the whole site

Once the interior layer is in place, the Ajax app is the site's single security control surface. Arming Ajax drives the matching CSS state; disarming releases both at once.

One dashboard, one timeline

Alarm events, photos, and sensor health feed directly into CeePlayer alongside CSS video — one project history, no app-switching.

Turn-key scope

CEECAM runs site survey, hub configuration, sensor placement, API integration, monitoring enrollment, and recovery at project end. The platform is Ajax; the service is CEECAM.

What you get

Verified-alarm response

Photo verification puts an operator on the alarm before anyone is sent — dispatch goes out on verified events only.

Monitored fire detection

Smoke and heat detection in active trades and storage zones from the moment the structure is enclosed through to handover.

One control surface

Arming, disarming, and event review for the entire site — interior detection plus CSS video — through a single Ajax app and a unified CeePlayer timeline.

Frequently asked

Common questions

Answers to what estimators, supers, and project teams ask most.

When in a project does the interior layer get installed?
After the structure is enclosed — once doors, windows, and interior rooms exist for sensors to cover. The typical CEECAM sequence is CSS perimeter video at groundbreaking, then the interior detection layer mid-project when the envelope closes, both running through to handover.
Can it deploy without CSS perimeter cameras?
Yes. Standalone interior deployments are used when video security isn't in scope, or when a project is past the active-construction phase (late fit-out, post-occupancy protection). Same hardware, same monitoring — the hub mounts into a temporary or existing power and comms drop instead of the CSS cabinet.
How does it fit a fire-watch or insurer requirement?
Fire-watch requirements are set by the insurer and the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), and often still call for a person on site. The UL-listed combined smoke and heat detectors CEECAM deploys give that program monitored, documented detection in storage, trades, and electrical zones. CEECAM scopes placement to the active construction phase and adjusts as trades, materials, and risk areas shift through the build.
How does verified-alarm dispatch actually work?
When a sensor triggers, a 5-photo series is delivered to CEECAM's monitoring partners within ~9 seconds. A trained operator verifies what caused the alarm, pulls matching CSS video where available, and dispatches police, security, or the designated contact only when the event is real. False alarms are cleared without dispatch.
How does it integrate with CeePlayer and CSS?
Alarm events, photo-verification images, sensor health, and battery status feed directly into CeePlayer, where they appear alongside CSS video on a single timeline. The native Ajax app remains available for deep configuration; CeePlayer is the project team's at-a-glance dashboard.
How does arming and disarming work across both layers?
Once the interior layer is deployed, the Ajax app becomes the site's single security control. Setting the site to armed drives CSS into its monitoring posture; disarming in the morning releases both layers together. Supers don't manage two systems and the two layers can't drift out of sync.
What happens at project completion?
Everything is recovered. The deployment is wireless and non-destructive — no wall penetrations, no cable runs, no conduit. CEECAM removes hub, sensors, and any cabinet integration at handover; nothing stays behind unless the client elects to retain it.
